Our strength is our people and we’re always looking to get stronger across North America, Europe, and Asia.Join us as an Accounting Manager as we work together to bring innovative automation solutions to life.  Location Type: This is a remote role located in Nashville, TN. How You’ll Make an Impact:General Ledger &amp; Trial Balance Ownership <ul><li>Own the general ledger and trial balance, ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial data </li></ul><ul><li>Oversee journal entry preparation, review, and approval </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure proper classification and accounting treatment in accordance with IFRS </li></ul><ul><li>Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and analysis (JSOX, Hitachi, and EY auditing) </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting standards </li></ul><ul><li>Support Fixed Asset and Tax related duties in an ad hoc capacity </li></ul><ul><li>Support Accounts Receivable and Payable teams in an ad hoc capacity </li></ul>Monthly Close &amp; Reconciliations <ul><li>Perform the monthly close process for local level entity results. Ensuring timely and accurate financial results </li><li>Review and approve balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve variances </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate close activities to meet reporting close deadlines </li></ul>Leadership &amp; Policy Enforcement <ul><li>Enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls consistently across the entity </li></ul><ul><li>Promote accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the accounting team </li></ul><ul><li>Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement (OneJR) </li></ul><ul><li>Work closely with multiple departments across the business, including FP&amp;A, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and Treasury </li></ul><ul><li>Serve as a key accounting partner for business initiatives, system implementations, and process improvement projects </li></ul><ul><li>Leverage strong project management skills to lead and execute accounting-related initiatives for local entity </li></ul>Note: This list of responsibilities is inclusive; however, it is intended to be a guideline for activities.What You’ll Bring: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field </li><li>5+ years of general accounting experience, Percentage of Completion method preferred </li><li>Proven ability to enforce policies while maintaining positive business relationships </li><li>Strong leadership abilities </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Effective organizational skills </li><li>High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture </li><li>Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Experience in a large, multi-entity organization - preferred</li><li>IFRS and JSOX experience - preferred</li><li>Tax experience (Corporate/Sales/Use) - preferred</li><li>ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, Epicor, or similar) - preferred</li><li>Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. - preferred</li></ul>Disclaimer: JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.Company Overview:  At JR Automation, A Hitachi Group Company, we discover potential, reimagine limits, and advance industry.
