This role is critical to safe, reliable plant performance and requires strong industrial operating experience in power generation, oil &amp; gas, chemical processing, or similar heavy industry.This is an onsite, safety-critical position working in a live industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations<ul><li>Operate and monitor process equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, piping systems, valves, and control systems</li><li>Perform field rounds, equipment inspections, and operational checks</li><li>Execute startup, shutdown, and normal operating procedures</li><li>Monitor process parameters and escalate deviations</li><li>Record operating data and maintain accurate shift logs</li></ul>Commissioning &amp; Startup Support<ul><li>Assist in pre-commissioning checks and system turnover</li><li>Support functional testing and troubleshooting</li><li>Work closely with engineering and commissioning teams to validate system performance</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Follow all site safety policies, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work procedures</li><li>Identify and report near misses, hazards, and unsafe conditions</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 5+ years in industrial plant operations</li><li>Experience with commissioning/start-up, process safety, and high-temperature systems is an asset.</li><li>Strong understanding of process control systems (DCS/PLC) and standard operating practices.</li><li>Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills under pressure.</li><li>Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, in a demonstration project environment.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with high-temperature industrial processes, or boiler/steam systems</li><li>Bilingual English / French</li></ul>Location: This is a site-based role in Trois Rivieres, Quebec.Compensation &amp; Benefits – This is a project-based, contract role.
