AECOM's Project Cost Consultancy (PCC) team is seeking a motivated Graduate Project Surveyor (MEP) to join our dynamic and multi-disciplinary Infrastructure team. As a Graduate Project Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting all commercial activities throughout the pre and post contract phases of construction projects.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assisting Quantity Surveying staff in the Infrastructure Team on both pre-contract and post-contract deliverables.</li><li>Undertakes responsibilities under the supervision of a more senior Project Surveyor</li><li>Completes the measurement of quantities for input into cost plans, cost estimates and bills of quantities</li><li>Assists with the preparation of tender documentation</li><li>Assists with viability studies and cost estimates</li><li>Assists with implementing, maintaining and monitoring cost control procedures throughout the duration of a project</li><li>Assists with providing necessary input related to financial claims</li><li>Assists with evaluating variations, additions and omissions, etc, and incorporating these into monthly cost reports   </li><li>Assists with preparing, pricing and negotiating change orders with clients and contractors</li><li>Market tests rates and analyses tender returns for input into rates databases and estimates</li><li>Assists with upkeep of the technical library, including cost data, benchmarks and maintenance of the various asset databases used for life cycle cost analysis and operational cost estimates. </li><li>Assists with report formatting, data management and quality assurance procedures across all core service lines.                                                          </li><li>Undertakes primary research according to project requirements under the supervision.</li></ul>
