You will work closely with our stakeholders to ensure finance operations are embedded into the end-to-end experience, enabling swift issue resolution, accurate communications, and scalable support models.What you'll be doing: Leadership &amp; Development<ul><li>Manage and coach a team of Accounts Payable &amp; Accounts Receivables Officers and Assistants across multiple locations (Melbourne, Sydney, Philippines).</li><li>Support development plans, set clear expectations, and foster continuous improvement initiatives. </li></ul>Invoice-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay Ownership (Optimise core processes)<ul><li>Treasury &amp; Cash Management: Forecast and manage cash flows, oversee payment runs, and optimise working capital.</li><li> Accounts Payable &amp; Accounts Receivables Ownership - Lead end-to-end AR and AP processes (including OPEX related), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong cash performance</li><li>Build clearer triage pathways and SLAs for billing/payment issues</li><li>Partner with FP&amp;A, Finance Transformation and Financial Accounting teams to support reporting and month-end processes</li><li>Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing operations, monthly close processes, and reconciliations across finance systems.</li><li>Oversee Accounts Payable &amp; Accounts Receivables aging and Working Capital performance metrics </li></ul>Customer &amp; Carrier Finance Leadership<ul><li>Participate in MBRs and QBRs with customers as required</li><li>Build trusted relationships with our customers and carriers to increase stickiness and solve problems promptly </li></ul>Go-Lives &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>Own the finance onboarding journey for both customers and carriers. Partner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless and scalable experience during strategic go-lives, from first invoice to first payment. </li></ul>Process Automation and Systems<ul><li>Finance Systems &amp; Automation: Partner with Product, Operations, and Tech to automate manual workflows and scale financial operations.</li><li>Lead initiatives to increase invoice automation and reduce friction, both on the Accounts Payable &amp; Accounts Receivables side, to get us closer to 100% touchless transactions.</li></ul><ul><li>Act as business owner for key finance operations systems (Internal OCR tool, Machship, OFX, Eftsure, Airwallex)</li><li>Strengthen financial controls, risk management, and audit readiness across all operational workflows </li></ul>About you: <ul><li>8+ years of experience in management accounting, finance operations or shared services, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity</li><li>Proven experience owning day to day finance processes in a scaling business (ideally tech, SaaS, logistics, or high-growth industry)</li><li>Experience in standardising processes and building a Centre of Excellence within a Finance operations or similar environment</li><li>Deep understanding of systems and controls (e.g. NetSuite, Eftsure, OFX, Xero)</li><li>Past experiences in Freight or Logistics industry</li><li>Strong issue resolution mindset with a data-led approach to decision-making</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills</li></ul>At Ofload we prioritise impact, aptitude and passion, so we’d encourage you to apply if you do not meet all the above criteria.
