Electrical EngineerSpark Power, a trusted partner in power in North America, seeking an Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution to join our Engineering team in Hamilton, Ontario. Here’s what we’re looking for:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a P.Eng. designation.</li><li>At least 5 years of power distribution design experience.</li><li>Proven track record in Industrial, Renewable and Commercial projects.</li><li>Expertise in power distribution design, substation design, and project management.</li><li>Proficiency in electrical software (e.g., CYMCAP, CYMGrd, SKM, ETAP) and CAD software (AutoCAD).</li><li>Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards (e.g., CSA, IEEE, OESC, NEC/CEC) and a strong commitment to safety.</li><li>Experience in heavy industrial or battery energy storage systems (BESS) is an asset.</li><li>· Candidates who are working towards their P.Eng licensure but can demonstrate significant power distribution experience will be considered for this position</li></ul>Who is Spark Power?Spark Power is the leading independent provider of end-to-end electrical services and operations and maintenance services to the industrial, utility, and renewable asset markets in North America.
