You will work across the organization to make strategic decisions and run the design process on key squads and initiatives. You will lead and champion a human-centered design process and culture.</p></div><br><br><h3>In this role you will:</h3><ul><li>Champion a Human-Centered process, collaborating across the company to prioritize and solve scenarios and create impactful, brand-aligned solutions that advance our strategy.</li><li>Partner closely with UX Research to design and run studies, leveraging insights and communicating design solutions to inform product direction for diverse audiences and organizational levels.</li><li>Design elegant, accessible, intuitive, and delightful mobile app flows and other rider screen interfaces based on a deep understanding of our riders.</li><li>Create, test, and iterate on the app's information architecture, wireframes, and user journeys, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring features to life; ideate and validate UX/UI design for both iOS and Android.</li><li>Demonstrate leadership capabilities to orchestrate complex projects with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Zoox's design systems and principles.</li><li>Proficiently design systems architecture with a strong focus on accessibility, including implementing WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards.</li><li>Clearly and effectively present design strategies, utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills to convey design concepts.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li> A minimum of 5 years of professional design experience within a commercial environment.</li><li>Expert in design tools like Figma or Sketch, coupled with strong UX prototyping skills.</li><li>Demonstrated history of successfully launching digital products.</li><li>Proven ability to design and deliver applications specifically for both iOS and Android platforms.</li><li>Experience in creating or evolving design systems.</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Expertise in 3D animation techniques to create visually engaging content and bring ideas to life through dynamic visual content. </li><li>Experience working in AV, mobility, or automotive industries.</li><li>​​Experience designing for a wide range of users and abilities.</li></ul><br>
