You’ll collaborate closely with our JV partner TOMRA Cleanaway and play a key role on the local TOMRA Collections Australia (TCA) Leadership Team by sharing wins, lessons and building a culture that connects states under one vision.If you’re passionate about strategy, growth, and leading teams to success, this is your chance to shape the future and make a real difference.Key responsibilities include (but not limited to): <ul><li>Acting as a safety leader and ensure compliance with TOMRA SAFE Standards and Guidelines.</li><li>Build and maintain an organisation in NSW that is set up for success based on agreed People, Planet and Profit KPIs (both for NSW and TCA).</li><li>Acting as a champion for employee engagement and TOMRA Culture, ensuring that engagement initiatives are established and implemented consistently.</li><li>Training and mentoring direct reports to ensure that they are set up for success in their current role and preparing for future opportunities.</li><li>Developing, implementing and monitoring volume building activities to drive volume to existing return points.</li><li>Overseeing contractual compliance regarding delivery of Network Operator obligations.</li><li>Driving a positive and constructive relationship with Joint Venture Partners, meeting all requirements as a service provider to the joint venture.</li><li>Support and own TOMRA response to expansion activities for the Network, including but not limited to RFTs, Scheme Expansion.</li><li>Establish annual People, Planet and Profit targets/KPIs and ensure the business delivers on the agreed commitments.</li><li>Prepare and run monthly business reviews with TCA leadership in line with agreed deadlines.</li><li>Ownership of ongoing continuous improvement initiatives with the respective market, with a focus on operational efficiencies, safety and uptime.</li><li>Working closely with the cross-functional teams to optimally manage requests, workload and key resource allocation.</li><li>Analysing competitor activity to ensure TOMRA maintains their competitive advantage in the market.  Including conducting market research, analysing industry trends, and developing strategies to stay ahead.</li><li>Driving positive financial outcomes by ensuring the commercial and financial viability of the organisation unit. This includes full P/L ownership of New South Wales.</li><li>Nurturing key external stakeholder relationships in order to protect and grow existing business (this may include but is not limited to scheme coordinators, government regulators, and vendors). </li><li>Be involved and lead development and expansion of TOMRA’s offering to drive competitive advantage.</li><li>Preparing and presenting operational and financial performance reports to internal &amp; external stakeholders.</li><li>Drive sustainability initiatives in line with TOMRA’s business objectives.</li><li>Owner over People Management activity within the market in line with TOMRA Policies and Procedures.</li></ul>
