Job Summary:This position is responsible for operating off road type heavy, mobile equipment (such as Loader, Material Handler, Lugger Truck, Hot Work Operator, Water Truck.  May also be required to operate MRP and screening equipment.  All work performed in a steel mill environment and will be worked as 12 hour rotating shifts.  Duties include but not limited to:<ul><li>Perform and record routine mobile equipment pre-start and post inspections,</li><li>Run Heavy Equipment in a safe and efficient manner</li><li>Complete required activity reports.</li><li>Follow all policies and rules of the company and the customer</li><li>Service a high-demand production customer with reliability and efficiency</li><li>Good communication skills for coordinating with supervisor and customers</li><li>Understand and follow the customer’s schedule to ensure timely operations</li><li>Strong attention to safety protocols and compliance with regulations</li><li>Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities</li></ul>Maintain high level of safety, and abide by all safe work requirements*This position is for an anticipated opening with a training rate of $31.23 to $34.50 per hour and then an hourly rate of $33.88 to $36.50 per hour.
