The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving EHS programs that promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace, while supporting operational excellence, risk reduction, and a strong safety culture across the organization.<span style="line-height:115%;"><span style="font-family:Aptos , sans-serif;"> </span></span><p></p><h3><strong>Strategic Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Manage and maintain site Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and programs in alignment with company and global EHS standards.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, state, and local authorities.</li><li>Maintain EHS management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 where applicable. </li><li>Drive a fact‑based, continuous improvement culture focused on injury prevention, environmental protection, and risk reduction.</li><li>Serve as the site owner for EHS documentation, procedures, and records within the document control system.</li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Operational Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked. </li><li>Lead incident investigations, near‑miss reporting, and root cause analysis; ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed and documented. </li><li>Manage safety training programs, including new‑hire orientation, emergency response, equipment operation (e.g., forklift, lifts, harnesses), and annual refresher training.</li><li>Coordinate and document emergency preparedness activities, including fire, chemical spill, tornado, and evacuation drills. </li><li>Maintain and update EHS work instructions, procedures, and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility. </li></ul><h3><strong>Compliance &amp; Reporting</strong></h3><ul><li>Perform internal EHS audits and support external regulatory or certification audits as required. </li><li>Track, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics, including incidents, near misses, corrective actions, and compliance activities.</li><li>Support workers’ compensation claims, injury reporting, and coordination with medical providers as required. </li><li>Ensure all required EHS records, permits, and reports are completed accurately and submitted on time. </li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Employee Engagement &amp; Leadership</strong></h3><ul><li>Actively promote safety awareness and employee involvement through safety committees, meetings, and communication initiatives. </li><li>Provide guidance, coaching, and corrective action related to safe work practices and compliance with EHS policies. </li><li>Work closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and management to integrate EHS considerations into daily activities and improvement projects. </li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Success Criteria</strong></h3><ul><li>Effective implementation and maintenance of EHS programs and management systems at the site level. </li><li>Reduction in workplace incidents, injuries, and environmental risks through proactive prevention efforts. </li><li>Full compliance with regulatory, corporate, and customer EHS requirements. </li></ul><hr><p>I</p>                </div>
