Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and curious Systems Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support system architecture development for the NX inverter, including operating modes, functional decomposition, and interface definition</li><li>Develop and maintain system and subsystem requirements, including traceability to hardware, firmware, and controls requirements</li><li>Assist in trade studies and design analyses (e.g., performance, efficiency, thermal, reliability considerations)</li><li>Contribute to system-level modeling and simulation (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) to evaluate inverter behavior and control interactions</li><li>Support system integration, verification, and validation (V&amp;V) activities, including test planning, execution, and results analysis</li><li>Participate in root cause and failure analysis for system-level issues observed during lab or field testing</li><li>Collaborate with hardware, firmware, controls, mechanical, and test engineering teams</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Currently, pursuing final year master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, Power Electronics, Controls, or a related field</li><li>Academic coursework in power electronics, control systems, or energy systems</li><li>Understanding of systems engineering fundamentals, including requirements, interfaces, and verification concepts</li><li>Ability to perform structured technical analysis and clearly communicate results</li><li>Proficiency with engineering tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, Python, or equivalent</li></ul>Compensation: Compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors.
