Given that Candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking.Specifically, the job involves taking a prominent role in the following:<ul><li>Managing solar transactions, including negotiation, due diligence, financial modelling, coordinating stakeholders, legal documentation and any aspect requiring attention in order to bring transactions to a successful close</li><li>Performing financial, structuring and legal analysis on target deals to come up with optimal solutions for Candi and its clients</li><li>Reviewing and negotiating legal documentation with external parties as required</li><li>Working closely with Business Development, Risk, Engineering, Finance and Asset Management in order to successfully close these deals</li><li>Spending time pitching to clients and coming up with innovative solutions to meet clients’ needs</li><li>Analysing, pricing and executing opportunities in the secondary markets (e.g. portfolios of projects for sale)</li><li>Helping to define and execute on a strategy for accelerating the pace and conversion of solar projects in South Africa</li></ul> Location: Johannesburg, Ballito or Cape Town (combined with working from home) Hours: Full time (those wishing to work less than full time will also be considered, depending on experience).
