They are responsible for ensuring control plan implementation, conducting conformance checks, analyzing quality data and driving continuous improvement. Through cross-functional collaboration, they identify and resolve quality issues in production and supply chain, ensuring plant operations meet Gotion's standards and customer requirements (Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented awareness, able to handle customer complaints and pressure scenarios efficiently.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong> </p><ul><li>Collect and analyze production and quality data, including defect rates, return rates, and process capability indices (CPK, PPK, CMK), among others.</li><li>Identify trends and potential issues and propose preventive measures to reduce risks.</li><li>Organize root cause analysis of quality issues, promote and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.</li><li>Manage the non-conforming product area on the production line, lead the non-conforming product determination process, establish and maintain a non-conforming product ledger.</li><li>Management of rework and repair areas, establishment of rework and repair area ledger, promotion of process output rework operation instructions and production rework operation execution, and rework testing. </li><li>Confirm the implementation of control plan in the production line, including inspection items, frequency, standards, and corrective action plans.</li><li>Guide and train operators to ensure the implementation of relevant quality processes and standards in the production process.</li><li>Regularly inspect each process of the production line, identify potential risks, and propose improvement measures.</li><li>Manage the work of inspectors and conduct hierarchical audits based on control plans and other standards.</li><li>Develop standard inspection guidelines</li><li>Maintain clear records of all quality activities, including quality reports, audit records, and corrective measures.</li><li>Track industry best practices and quality standards and promotes factory quality systems and process optimization.</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong> </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering</li><li>5+ years of experience in quality engineering in manufacturing industry, with priority given to those with experience in battery or automotive battery industry. Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with Kaizen and CAPA</li><li>Familiarity with DOE Solving Tools</li><li>Mastered quality tools and methods (SPC, FMEA, 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, etc.).</li><li>Proficient in using Microsoft Office software, with familiarity in quality management software preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as a team member.</li></ul><p> </p><p>The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits.
