Job Summary <ul><li>• Manages personnel needs, assigns work and meets deadlines. • Interprets and ensures consistent application of company policies. • May perform special analyses and reconcile designated accounts, etc. within assigned functional areas. • Plans, organizes and directs the work of others in an effective manner. • Prepares reports on department’s service levels. • Responsible for the day-to-day direction and coordination of the collections group.</li></ul> Job Description Responsibilities &amp; Duties<ul><li>Manage daily collections activities involving monitoring of portfolio within agreed service level agreement.</li><li>Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress.</li><li>Perform proactive calls and emails to clients to discuss their outstanding invoices</li><li>Assist the Team Leader to manage the debtor lifecycle and in bringing down the company’s days sales outstanding.</li><li>Investigate historical data for debts and bills.</li><li>Process unallocated receipts, refunds and adjustments.</li><li>May be involved in selected process transition activities.</li><li>Participate in various stakeholder meetings.</li><li>Respond to inquiries and escalate issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution.</li><li>Perform varied simple periodic and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.</li><li>Address critical issues with the guidance of Team Leader within the prescribed turn-around time.</li><li>May support Team Lead in data gathering and report generation.</li><li>Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving common and recurring issues.</li><li>Perform transition-related activities such as process training &amp; desktop procedures creation.</li><li> Support selected simple process improvement initiatives to streamline processes. </li></ul> Qualifications &amp; Requirements Minimum Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses</li><li>3-4 years of relevant professional experience in Collections</li><li>Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools</li><li>Advanced knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls</li><li>Experience working with ERP &amp; CRMs e.g. Oracle, SAP, Service Now and Salesforce</li><li>Experience in process improvements and other transformation activities is an advantage</li><li>Experience in process migration/transition is a plus</li><li>Experience working in a global engineering and consulting firm or similar in a shared service/BPO environment is preferred </li></ul> Attributes<ul><li>Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a varied audience and internal and external customers.
