YOUR IMPACT<ul><li>Use and interpret blueprints, product specifications and technical specifications</li><li>Understanding and demonstrated performance of multiple work center requirements and manufacturing disciplines</li><li>Trouble shoot and problem solve assembly challenges and work with support departments to create corrective action</li><li>Active participation in team daily management and problem solving</li><li>Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals in an industrial manufacturing environment</li><li>Use various types of hand tools in the assembly</li><li>Use and interpret mechanical drawings and bills of material</li><li>Use and interpret Standard Work, SOPs or Work Instructions to conform to process specifications</li><li>Make mechanical connections using nuts, bolts, washers, and screws</li><li>Use fitting equipment such as drills, files, and grinders</li><li>Make electrical connections using prefabricated harnesses</li><li>Use cutters, wire strippers and crimping tools</li><li>Self-audit/inspect assembled work using drawings and checklists</li><li>Inform Value Stream leadership of Safety or Quality non-conformances or opportunities for improvement</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement activities</li><li>Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED)</li><li>5+ years’ experience with medium/heavy mechanical assembly required</li><li>Demonstrated performance of thorough understanding of blueprints and technical documentation</li><li>Ability to operate mechanical and electrical tooling</li><li>Attention to detail, quality and safety</li><li>Ability to use judgment to perform and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures</li><li>Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment</li></ul>Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
