This position is also responsible for expediting shortages and creating, updating, and maintaining shop paper.    Essential Functions<ul><li>Monitor floor for shortages</li><li>Expedite shortages through purchasing, weld, and fabrication</li><li>Correct Bill of Materials (BOM) through the BOM query system</li><li>Exercise skills in location management</li><li>Gather components and parts needed for different stages of assembly (kitting)</li><li>Process and reconcile inventory</li><li>Possess the ability to read work orders/dispatch reports and follow oral instruction</li><li>Determine root cause for shortages</li><li>Assemble shop paper including build book &amp; work order batching</li><li>Responsible for Change Order (PCO) distribution</li><li>Follow up on any issues</li><li>Raise potential issues to the appropriate level for disposition</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations</li><li>Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Regular attendance required</li><li>All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned  </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent education</li><li>Six months of previous manufacturing experience</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications to complete Essential Functions<ul><li>Ability to use a tape measure</li><li>Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently</li><li>Possess strong organizational skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>Other Physical Requirements*All positions require the ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
