This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role for an experienced quality executive who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.What You’ll Do:Quality Strategy &amp; Governance<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain the MCS Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with enterprise and industry best practices.</li><li>Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new product development to ensure best-in-class product quality.</li><li>Own segment-wide quality governance, risk management, and reporting to executive leadership.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable regulatory standards.</li><li>Lead internal and external audits and drive timely resolution of non-conformances.</li></ul>Leadership &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop Quality, QA/QC, and Compliance teams across the segment.</li><li>Partner with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Service, Customer Success, and Supply Chain to embed quality into daily operations and long-term strategy.</li><li>Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and customer-centric quality.</li></ul>Operational Excellence &amp; Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Champion Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives.</li><li>Drive improvements in process capability, product reliability, and field performance.</li><li>Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and enhance customer satisfaction.</li></ul>Supplier &amp; Customer Quality<ul><li>Lead supplier quality programs, including audits, scorecards, and corrective action plans.</li><li>Partner with procurement and operations to strengthen supplier capability and mitigate risk.</li><li>Oversee customer quality initiatives, complaint resolution, and warranty performance improvements.</li></ul>Metrics &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Define and monitor KPIs such as defect rates, first-pass yield, customer complaints, on-time delivery, and audit results.</li><li>Analyze data and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.</li></ul>What You’ll Bring:<ul><li>Bachelor’s in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred)</li><li>10+ years of progressive quality management experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership</li><li>Deep expertise in Quality Management Systems, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership</li><li>Proven experience driving enterprise-level quality improvement initiatives</li><li>Experience in multi-site or global operations preferred</li><li>Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills</li></ul>Preferred Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt, CMQ/OE, CQE, ISO Lead AuditorTravel requirement:<ul><li>Domestic and International travel up to 40%</li></ul>#LI-JO2Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
