Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.</p><p><strong>Who are we looking for?</strong></p><p>As an Experienced Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of aerospace structures and lead teams of younger engineers. This position will encompass all program cycles including concept design, prototyping, analysis, modeling, drafting, manufacturing, testing, and flight. You will frequently use CAD programs to bring conceptual ideas to reality. Significant experience with multiple CAD packages (Catia, Inventor, NX, SolidWorks, Creo) is required. </p><p><strong>What you get to do!</strong></p><ul><li>Design of primary and secondary aerospace structures and systems</li><li>Creating and delivering CAD models and presentations to customers</li><li>Communicate across engineering disciplines to make program critical decisions</li><li>Identify core issues, develop solutions, and effectively communicate the impacts across internal and external teams</li><li>Lead, mentor, and collaborate with other engineers, both internally and externally</li><li>Develop supporting material for design such as bill of materials, assembly or installation procedures, and weight optimization trades</li></ul><h2><strong>What you will bring to the Team</strong></h2><ul><li><strong>7 plus years of proven experience</strong></li><li><strong>Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical or aerospace engineering</strong></li><li><strong>Demonstrated experience designing composite and metallic parts and assemblies</strong></li><li><strong>Must be a US citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain a security clearance</strong></li></ul><h2><strong>Additional Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Systems design experience: flight controls, landing gear, hydraulic, etc.</li><li>Proficient with multiple CAD programs such as Catia or Solidworks</li><li>Familiar with analysis packages such as FEMAP and NASTRAN (or equivalent)</li><li>Proficient in designing parts, assemblies, and installation drawings following GD&amp;T (ASME Y14.5) standard methodologies</li><li>Solid understanding of aerospace materials, hardware, and fabrication techniques</li><li>Rapid prototype experience</li><li>Familiar with fabrication, inspection, and repair of composites and metallic parts and assemblies</li><li>Experience with design lifecycle and configuration management systems</li><li>Hands on experience with machining and composite layup</li><li>Test plan development and structural testing experience</li><li>Comfortable working on Military/DoD projects</li></ul><h2>Salary Range</h2><ul><li>$95,000 - $230,000 depending on experience</li></ul><h2><strong>The BIG payoff </strong></h2><p>We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.</p><p>Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!</p><p><strong>We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate </strong></p><p>Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
