<div>Diamond Foundry is seeking a Technical Buyer to join our foundational team in Zaragoza. As we scale our €1 billion diamond wafer production facility, you will be the primary link between our engineering requirements and our global supplier network. This is a high-impact role in which you will manage the procurement of specialized industrial equipment and semiconductor-grade components essential to our zero-emission manufacturing process.</div><div><br></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li><b>Strategic Sourcing: </b>Identify, vet, and onboard high-quality suppliers for specialized industrial materials and laboratory equipment, ensuring they meet our rigorous technical specifications.</li><li><b>End-to-End Procurement: </b>Manage the full "Procure-to-Pay" cycle, including creating Purchase Orders (POs), tracking deliveries, and resolving any invoice or shipping discrepancies.</li><li><b>Contract Negotiation: </b>Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to drive cost-efficiency without compromising on quality or lead times.</li><li><b>Vendor Relationship Management:</b> Act as the primary point of contact for both local Spanish vendors and international technology partners, conducting regular performance reviews and audits.</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</b> Work closely with the Engineering and Warehouse teams to forecast material needs and prevent "line-down" situations in the foundry.</li><li><b>Compliance &amp; Ethics: </b>Ensure all purchasing activities comply with EU trade regulations, Spanish labor laws, and Diamond Foundry’s strict sustainability and ethical sourcing standards.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related Engineering field.</li><li>Experience: 3–5 years of experience in technical procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally within the semiconductor, aerospace, chemical, or automotive industries.</li><li>Technical Literacy: Ability to read technical drawings or specifications to ensure purchased components meet engineering requirements.</li><li>Language Skills: Native or professional-level Spanish and professional fluency in English (essential for coordinating with our US headquarters).</li><li>Systems Proficiency: Strong experience using ERP systems (such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).</li></ul><br>
