Join us as we charge forward into an all-electric future. </div><div> </div><div><strong>Position Summary: </strong></div><div> </div><div>The Senior Manager, FP&amp;A will serve as a key finance partner responsible for driving the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes. This role will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep of the corporate budget model, enhance core FP&amp;A tools and deliver timely, actionable insights through reporting and ad hoc analyses to leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail oriented and comfortable operating in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Responsibilities:  </strong></div><ul><li>Budgeting &amp; Forecasting</li><li>Own and have ultimate responsibility for the company’s budget model, including daily upkeep and monthly updates, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely updating of financial data  </li><li>Key player in driving the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts forward</li><li>Improve the efficiency and scalability of the forecast model to align with changes in business operations, new product lines and emerging opportunities</li><li>Enhance forecast precision, with a focus on improving visibility into charging costs and identifying key business drivers</li><li>Lead monthly budget vs. actuals reviews, identifying trends, variances and drivers, while partnering with business leaders to align on insights and required actions</li><li>Business Partnership &amp; Performance Insights</li><li>Partner closely with cross functional leaders and finance colleagues to understand operational performance, interpret financial results and support data driven decision-making</li><li>Translate complex business and financial concepts into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership</li><li>Work with business intelligence and other groups to collect and validate necessary data for financial reporting and financial analysis</li><li>Develop streamlined processes for efficient nonpayroll budget reporting for business partners to support planning and accountability</li><li>Reporting &amp; Executive Deliverables</li><li>Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close to support reporting and variance analysis</li><li>Own and produce core monthly financial reports, including the monthly management report, KPI dashboards, IR materials and performance trending analyses</li><li>Maintain and continuously improve recurring reporting packages to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance to executive stakeholders</li><li>Prepare highquality materials for the executive team that explain financial trends, highlight forecast updates and communicate key business insights</li><li>Prepare quarterly reforecast and materials for board meetings</li></ul><div><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience. Barriers to entry may require committee review.</li></ul></div><div><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></div><div><ul><li>History of and proficiency in building, maintaining and improving complex financial models, including fully integrated three-statement forecasts </li><li>Extensive experience producing financial reporting packages and executive-level presentations </li><li>Expert working knowledge of Excel with strong preference for familiarity in Tableau, Snowflake and financial planning systems </li><li>Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis </li><li>Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills  </li><li>Adaptable ownership mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li><li>High attention to detail, accountability and organizational skills </li></ul></div><div>For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $139,700.00 USD to $174,600.00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
