You'll work directly with our Quality Manager to ensure LineVision's sensor network delivers reliable data to utility customers while learning quality engineering practices in a high-growth technology company. Join our collaborative Quality team at <strong>LineVision</strong>, named one of the Built In Best Places to Work in Boston for three years running.</p><p><br></p><h2>What will you do?</h2><p><strong>Core Responsibilities and Key Performance Objectives</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor daily device health across LineVision's sensor network, conducting uptime and visibility checks to identify and escalate issues requiring Engineering or Operations support</li><li>Lead weekly device health syncs, creating Jira tickets for issues and coordinating site visit escalations when field interventions are needed</li><li>Calculate hardware failure rates and build Tableau dashboards to track quality metrics, enabling data-driven decisions on device reliability improvements</li><li>Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Operations teams to investigate device issues and implement corrective actions</li><li>Support ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS) development by documenting processes, gathering audit evidence, and maintaining QMS records</li></ul><h2>What do you need to succeed in this role?</h2><ul><li>Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel for data analysis, tracking metrics, and identifying trends in datasets</li><li>Technical aptitude with exposure to networking concepts, SQL queries, Linux command line, or Python scripting through coursework or projects</li><li>Excellent attention to detail when monitoring systems, investigating issues, and documenting findings for technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Project management abilities to track multiple device issues simultaneously, prioritize escalations, and drive resolution with cross-functional teams</li><li>Initiative and curiosity to dig into problems, ask clarifying questions, and propose improvements to quality monitoring processes</li><li>Experience with Tableau or similar business intelligence tools for building dashboards is a plus but not required</li></ul><h2>Work Schedule</h2><p>The ideal candidate would be available for a minimum of 6 months, up to the full 8 month co-op term, working 40 hours a week. LineVision has a standard US holiday schedule, and up to a week of additional unpaid time off is permissible.
