Your work will play a key role in ensuring that traffic and road design solutions are communicated clearly and implemented effectively on the ground.Your Role as CAD Draftsman – Traffic &amp; Road Design:You are detail-oriented, technically curious, and take pride in producing high-quality drawings. You enjoy working closely with engineers and designers, translating sketches, markups, and design inputs into accurate CAD documentation that meets project and authority requirements.As part of a collaborative transport planning and traffic engineering team, you will support the preparation and delivery of drawings across a wide range of traffic and road design projects. You are comfortable working in a project-based environment, open to learning, and motivated to build your technical skills and experience in traffic and road design.Your Responsibilities and Professional Development:Based on your experience, you will support project teams by preparing and maintaining CAD drawings for traffic and road infrastructure projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and designers, gaining exposure to road geometry, intersections, traffic control devices, and construction documentation.This role offers strong technical guidance, structured learning, and opportunities to develop your drafting skills across a variety of transport projects, while building a solid foundation for career growth in traffic and road design.Your Responsibilities Include:<ul><li>Prepare and revise CAD drawings for roads, intersections, traffic control plans, signage, and pavement marking layouts</li><li>Assist in developing plans, profiles, cross-sections, and standard construction details</li><li>Update drawings based on engineer markups, design changes, and coordination feedback</li><li>Ensure drawings comply with drafting standards, design guidelines, and applicable codes</li><li>Organise and maintain CAD files, model structures, and drawing registers</li><li>Coordinate with engineers and project team members to meet project deadlines and quality requirements</li><li>Support basic quantity take-offs and measurements when required</li><li>Contribute to a well-coordinated and efficient drafting workflow within the project team</li></ul>
