Reporting to the controller, this position may manage one or more accounting staff, and collaborates closely with members of the finance leadership team.</p></div></div><br><br><h3>What will you be doing at Woodard &amp; Curran? </h3><ul><div><li><span>Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.</span></li><li><span>Develop and support implementation of accounting policies designed to promote compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.</span></li><li><span>Ensure adequate documentation of policies and controls for key corporate accounting areas such as fixed assets, equity incentive plans, insurance plans, leases, joint ventures, intercompany and consolidation.</span></li><li><span>Stay current on GAAP developments and assist in evaluating their financial impact, research accounting treatment for new transactions, and work with auditors to ensure appropriate accounting treatments.</span></li><li><span>Oversee the development of schedules for audits, including the financial statement and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) overhead rate audits. Respond to audit inquiries.
