We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway.  Main purpose of positionCurrently we are looking for a Senior Accounting, Tax and Reporting Manager in São Paulo - Brazil to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. This is a highly visible, challenging, hands-on, dynamic and wide-ranging role covering activities such as leading the local financial, tax and reporting team, leading the monthly closing processes and managing the external IFRS audit process. The Senior Accounting, Tax and Reporting Manager owns the day-to-day management of reporting, accounting and controlling of Brazil. The position is a key resource in the Finance team and will report to the VP Finance &amp; Asset Management in Brazil. Main responsibilities <ul> <li>Lead and manage the Brazil finance and accounting team (+15 employees), ensuring performance, development, collaboration, and strong governance across all finance processes.</li> <li>Oversee statutory and tax reporting (BR GAAP, IFRS, direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing) and ensure full compliance with local regulations.</li> <li>Manage monthly group reporting, period-end closing, audited and unaudited financial statements, and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.</li> <li>Provide technical accounting assessments and guidance on complex transactions and agreements.</li> <li>Lead tax planning, compliance, transfer pricing governance, tax reform implementation, and drive optimization opportunities aligned with company strategy.</li> <li>Own budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, Board reporting, treasury management, intercompany transactions, and regulatory approvals.</li> <li>Coordinate external and tax audits, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder management.</li> <li>Oversee ERP governance, system improvements, localization, process documentation, and provide support on ad-hoc financial matters.</li></ul>  Qualifications and competencies  <ul> <li>University level degree, preferably with specialization in Finance, Accounting.</li> <li>Comprehensive excel skills.</li> <li>Brazilian CPA is advantage.</li> <li>English and portuguese language skills (Fluent written &amp; Spoken English).</li> <li>Dynamics 365 or alternative ERP system experience.</li> <li>+10 years of experience within finance, accounting, tax, and controlling.</li> <li>Big 4-experience.</li></ul>Personal characteristics It is part of every employees’ terms of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhere to our company values which are: <ul> <li>Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, shares information in an open and honest way </li></ul><ul> <li>Driving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritise and work independently </li></ul><ul> <li>Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust </li></ul><ul> <li>Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude </li></ul>  For the particular role we also expect-max 5 bullet points <ul> <li>Proven Team and Financial leadership skills.</li> <li>IFRS and local Brazilian GAAP.</li> <li>Tax regulation knowledge and practical experience.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills.</li> <li>Good analytical skills.</li> <li>Dedicated and someone who takes “ownership” to tasks and responsibilities, flexible, adaptable and solution-oriented.</li> <li>Organized and methodical, a hands-on “doer” with attention and accuracy to detail, able to handle complicated models and large contracts.</li> <li>High level of integrity, self-reliant and loyalty to the company, the team and the project.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.</li> <li>Driven, always looking for ways to improve and having high aspirations for own work.</li> <li>High social and intercultural competence, able to coordinate and communicate with external parties and to manage work of others.</li></ul> We offer Scatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
