AECOM is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader to be based out of our office in Boston, MA.The responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to, the following:<ul><li>Performs field inspections according to requirements of MassDOT, MBTA, and RIDOT, as well as the FHWA NBIS and NTIS as applicable.</li><li>Supervises Team Members as well as access and equipment vendors.</li><li>Work at heights, on ladders, on scaffolding and on aerial lifts, or other bridge inspection access equipment.</li><li>Work in confined spaces, work adjacent to live traffic, work in or around water and work under adverse weather conditions.</li><li>Work overnight as required, including work within railroad right-of-way.</li><li>Prepares inspection reports, which may include developing sketches, calculating NBE/NTE total and defect quantities, and determining preliminary construction cost estimates for repairs and maintenance.</li><li>Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.</li><li>Additional tasks may include preparing bridge load rating calculations and reports using various analysis software, repair/rehabilitation plan and specification development, construction cost estimates, and construction phase services such as submittal review and field observations</li></ul>
