This role will also provide Technical Leadership.Role Responsibilities<ul><li>Act as the primary technical leader and developer for the STP Team. The rest of the team will seek technical direction and decision making from this Role.</li><li>Skilled in the development of message consumption, transformation and publishing capability</li><li>Maintain code quality through comprehensive testing and code reviews</li><li>L3 Support for deployment and investigation of production issues where appropriate.</li><li>Follow SaFe agile methodology and participate in agile ceremonies and processes.</li><li>Mentor junior members of the team.</li><li>Ability to work with multiple remote regions.</li><li>Work with architecture and DevOps teams to follow guidelines and implementations.</li><li>Follow standard SDLC processes, design patterns for development guidelines.</li></ul>Experience / CompetencesEssential<ul><li>Multiple years of professional experience in global financial services.  Messaging, trade confirmations, clearing, STP and 3rd party messaging vendor integrations (Markitwire, ICELink, LCH etc) an advantage</li><li>Proven expertise in server-side design and development within banking and trading environments</li><li>Microsoft.net, Java Development: Advanced proficiency in enterprise C# [.net technology] &amp; Java development</li><li>FIX Protocol: Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol and FIX Engines (eg QFJ, Rapid Addition, UlBridge)  an advantage</li><li>XML Experience large % of role is consumption, manipulation and publishing of data from various end points</li><li>Middleware: Some knowledge of interfacing with Solace and Tibco messaging middleware</li><li>Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (EC2/EKS)</li><li>CI/CD: Proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab for deployment and continuous integration</li><li>Database: Solid SQL Server experience (including writing complex queries) and database management</li><li>Testing:</li><li>Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail</li><li>Outstanding communication and collaboration skills in team environments.</li><li>Experience working in Agile development methodologies (SaFe/Scrum).</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Understanding of post-trade confirmation and affirmation workflows</li><li>Experience in electronic trading environments and market data systems</li><li>Observability: Grafana for monitoring and metrics</li><li>Testing: Cucumber for behaviour-driven development and automation testing</li><li>Infrastructure: Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code</li><li>Containerization: Kubernetes and AWS EKS experience</li></ul>Band &amp; Level – Manager, 7#LI-Hybrid #LI-MIDNot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
