Job Description:The Equipment Inspection Supervisor serves as the technical authority and lead professional for equipment quality assurance and inspection activities, ensuring Nextpower foundation installation equipment, meet all applicable standards. The Equipment Inspection Manager, is accountable for the accurate completion of Inbound and Outbound equipment inspections at the Fleet Center as well as the Equipment Validation Program.This role is responsible for developing and overseeing inspection criteria, managing QA/QC inspection teams, overseeing equipment validation testing, tracking nonconformance trends, and driving corrective and preventative actions. The Equipment Inspection Manager ensures that Inspection and Validation Programs are executed safely, with technical rigor, operational discipline, and complying with applicable standards.The role will also support the Engineering and R&amp;D teams on testing, implementation, and providing critical product development feedback on Nextpower’s equipment.Work is performed independently and reviewed at critical checkpoints. Quality Compliance<ul><li>Ensure full compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and requirements</li><li>Develop, enforce, and improve company inspection standards and procedures</li><li>Maintain audit records for customer and internal audits</li><li>Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and quality accountability</li></ul>Inspection Program Management<ul><li>Serve as the objective gate that evaluates and controls the condition of equipment entering and exiting Nextpower possession</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain inspection procedures for Nextpower’s equipment</li><li>Train, manage, mentor, and support Inspection Technicians</li><li>Obtain feedback from Internal Customers on output of inspections, quality of outbound equipment, and general effectiveness of the program</li><li>Hold regular internal meetings with stakeholders to report on findings of inspections and  feedback from internal customers</li><li>Drive continuous improvement within the Fleet Center</li><li>Help to architect, implement, utilize, and improve tools used for inspection program</li><li>Organize and maintain records of inspections</li></ul>Equipment Validation Program<ul><li>Lead and manage team of Validation Technicians tasked with operating Nextpower Equipment in a controlled environment to confirm functionality and evaluate condition</li><li>Lead by example as well as enforce safe practices and professionalism within the Validation area and among Validation Technicians, and other Fleet Center personnel</li><li>Maintain records of the Equipment Validation process in an organized manner for the purpose of future internal or external audits</li><li>Communicate findings to leadership counterparts, provide punchlists, and ensure closure of open items on Validated equipment</li><li>Drive improvements in efficiency, quality and execution of the Validation Program</li></ul>Equipment Applications Engineering<ul><li>Identify opportunities to improve technology and processes using analytical engineering decisions independently and/or collaboratively with internal stakeholders and SMEs.</li><li>Capture product issues and collaborate with Machinery Engineering, Fleet Management, Applications Engineering, and Mechanic teams to implement improvements.</li><li>Perform root cause analysis on issues identified in the Field, at Fleet Center, and/or during R&amp;D testing and drive resolution with the adjacent engineering teams</li><li>Test, Evaluate, Report, and drive improvements with the R&amp;D teams on new software and hardware features, subcomponents, and assembled equipment</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Development<ul><li>Lead, manage, train, mentor, and provide day-to-day technical guidance to Inspection Technicians, Validation Technicians, Mechanics, and other Fleet Center personnel</li><li>Assign inspection tasks and prioritize workload based on operational and project requirements</li><li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for skill development</li><li>Promote professionalism, accountability, and continuous technical improvement</li></ul><div></div>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating, maintaining, or inspecting construction or industrial equipment</li><li>Demonstrated experience applying standards in field or manufacturing environments</li><li>Experience leading validation and inspection teams or providing technical supervision preferred</li></ul>Essential Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Required: Experience operating heavy equipment, with Nextpower’s custom equipment of criticality.</li><li>Preferred: Journeyman Heavy Equipment Operator, Apprenticeship, or equivalent Education or Certification</li><li>Proficiency with inspection gauges, dimensional measurement tools, and testing equipment</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and compliance requirements</li><li>Proficiency in quality documentation systems and inspection reporting tools</li><li>Ability to work independently, and in a team environment, and exercise sound judgment in complex situations</li></ul>Physical &amp;
