GFL Environmental is looking for a Waste Depot Technician for our City of Kawartha MHSW Depot! This is a part-time position working only on Saturday's from 7:45 am - 3:45 pm.  Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide excellent customer service to the residents of the City of Kawartha Lakes that visit the depot</li><li>Have good communication skills to deal with City of Kawartha Lakes employees, and the public</li><li>Have read and understand all training documents on-site</li><li>Receive household hazardous waste from residents</li><li>Identify, sort, and pack household hazardous waste into the appropriate containers</li><li>Maintain clean grounds and facility</li><li>Wear all of the required PPE at all times</li><li>Work in a safe manner at all times</li><li>Maintain and report any equipment that needs repair</li><li>Comply with all rules and regulations to do with operating the depot</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Ability to perform moderately labour intensive and repetitious tasks</li><li>Physically fit with the ability to lift +50lbs and stand on cement for extended periods of time</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Planning and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to analyze and solve problems</li><li>Able to work independently and in a team environment</li></ul>#GFLTalent  We thank you for your interest.
