AECOM is seeking a motivated, technically experienced team leader to serve as Electrical Engineering Lead based in Houston or Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading technically proficient teams, designing custom solutions, mentoring mid-level and junior staff, managing the electrical team workload and developing calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications for the electrical design work on exciting and complex projects.Job Summary/ResponsibilitiesWe have an opening for an Electrical Engineering Lead responsible for electrical systems design (power distribution, power generation, energy storage, lighting, fire alarm) for a wide variety of multi-disciplinary (A&amp;E) project types, including but not limited to:<ul><li>Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics</li><li>Laboratories</li><li>Corporate Commercial</li><li>Government and Academic</li><li>Utility Plant and campus distribution</li></ul>The Electrical Engineering Principal should be capable of leading and developing teams to complete building engineering projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients is required. You will be expected to:<ul><li>Serve as a Discipline Leader for our Texas team and provide mentorship to an experienced group of engineers;</li><li>Be responsible for Electrical systems design (power distribution, power generation, energy storage, lighting, fire alarm)</li><li>Plan design work, calculates costs, and time schedules to assign design duties to junior staff working on projects</li><li>Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology and equipment suppliers</li><li>Maintain accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files</li><li>Evaluate project staffing requirements, analyzes problems, and writes reports</li><li>Lead client meetings regarding engineering systems and maintaining good client relations</li><li>Identify prospective clients, assists in marketing to develop new clients, and develops future projects with existing clients</li><li>Assure quality and completeness of the engineering design;</li><li>Switch between work on multiple/different projects daily</li><li>Represent the organization and maintains liaison with individuals and related organizations</li><li>Signing and sealing contract documents.</li></ul>
