Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Develop and execute strategic operational plans for U.S. manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with SBU goals and customer expectations.</li><li>Oversee the financial performance of all U.S. Specialty Components sites, including budgeting, forecasting, and full P&amp;L, to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.</li><li>Develop and execute capital investment strategies across U.S. sites to support operational needs and future customer programs.</li><li>Lead standardization of operational processes, KPIs, and reporting across sites to ensure efficiency, scalability, and consistent performance.</li><li>Partner with the President of the SBU to identify and implement operational improvements and scalable growth opportunities.</li><li>Oversee and support Site Plant Managers in driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.</li><li>Optimize labor, equipment, and capacity utilization across the U.S. footprint to support customer demand and business growth.</li><li>Improve cost-site alignment by implementing consistent cost control measures and driving operational synergies between sites.</li><li>Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Business Development teams to support customer onboarding, technical transfer, and delivery expectations.</li><li>Serve as a key operational representative in customer meetings and audits, building trust and responsiveness through operational transparency and execution.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and external partners to ensure continuity of supply, operational reliability, and cost effectiveness across all U.S. sites.</li><li>Foster a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to HSE, FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulations.</li><li>Champion workforce development and succession planning in coordination with HR and the site leadership teams.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field required.</li><li>Graduate Degree (e.g., MBA or technical Master’s) preferred.</li><li>10+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.</li><li>Proven success leading multi-site operations and cross-functional teams, including direct customer engagement.</li><li>Strong financial acumen, including P&amp;L ownership, capital project execution, and cost control.</li><li>Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational standardization practices.</li><li>Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and other relevant regulatory requirements.</li><li>Effective communicator and leader with a demonstrated ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners.</li><li>Able to navigate a matrixed organization and build alignment across global and regional teams.</li><li>Frequent travel required between U.S. manufacturing sites (~30–40%).</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
