(Senior) Energy Data Analyst (d/f/m)

Your Responsibilities As a Senior Energy Data Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will go beyond analysis to actively influence product, business, and market strategy:<ul><li>Advanced Product &amp; Trading Analytics: Analyze and interpret complex data related to our trading algorithms and product performance, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. </li><li>Energy Market Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of energy markets to generate actionable insights that inform trading strategies, product development, and business decisions. </li><li>Strategic Impact: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to evaluate and shape product initiatives, translating data insights into strategic recommendations. </li><li>Ownership of Metrics &amp; Reporting: Define, develop, and maintain key performance indicators and dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. </li><li>Data Infrastructure &amp; Scalability: Own analytics processes, tools, and data pipelines to ensure scalability, accuracy, and efficiency of insights. </li><li>Stakeholder Communication: Present complex analyses in a clear and compelling way to internal and external stakeholders, influencing decision-making at all levels.</li></ul> Your Profile Mandatory Requirements<ul><li>Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.</li><li>4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role, ideally within the energy or trading sector.</li><li>Solid software engineering skills with experience in building scalable solutions for production environments (Git, automated testing, code review, CI/CD).</li><li>Strong understanding of energy markets, trading mechanisms, and the role of flexibility in the energy transition.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.</li><li>Solid experience with statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, predictive, and descriptive analytics.</li><li>Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic, actionable insights.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.</li><li>Excellent English communication skills (C1 level).</li></ul>Skills to Set You Apart<ul><li>Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.</li><li>Proficient in leveraging AI tools to enhance and accelerate analytical workflows</li><li>Exposure to energy trading systems and optimization algorithms.</li><li>Experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana or Plotly.</li><li>Deep technical understanding of energy assets, especially BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)</li></ul> This role may not be a fit for you if…<ul><li>You are not comfortable with coding and rely primarily on BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.</li><li>You are not interested in the energy sector and how energy markets operate</li><li>You are not comfortable working with uncertainty, assumptions, and hypothesis-driven analysis in fast-paced environments.</li></ul>At Entrix, we are committed to diversity - of all backgrounds and experiences.
