We don’t expect you to ‘fit’ every requirement – your life experience, character, perspective, and passion for achieving great things in the world are equally as important to us.<h1>Job description</h1>Meet our TeamHitachi Digital Services Japan, which is the HDS’s Japan country office, is strengthening its offshore engineering services leveraging development centers in Vietnam and India, building a global delivery structure that combines high quality and cost competitiveness.What you’ll be doing<div><ul><li>Act as a technical bridge between/project manager Japanese clients and engineering teams, communicating complex topics clearly in Japanese.</li><li>Lead a small team (5-7 members), ensuring high-quality delivery and team alignment.</li><li>Manage technical requirements, clarify specifications, and align business processes with stakeholders.</li><li>Drive maintenance and improvement activities, including issue investigation and system enhancements.</li><li>Prepare technical documents and respond effectively to client inquiries.</li><li>Combine BrSE and project management responsibilities to ensure smooth delivery and communication.</li><li>Work onsite in Yokohama, Japan for long-term assignments.</li></ul></div>What you bring to the team<ul><li>Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline.</li><li>5+ years of experience as a BrSE and/or Project Manager in software development.</li><li>Solid understanding of Java full-stack development and AWS.</li><li>Proven experience leading teams and managing client-facing projects.</li><li>Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience working onsite in Japan or with Japanese enterprise clients.</li><li>Japanese: Business/native level.</li><li>English: Business level.</li><li>Vietnamese: Business level for internal coordination.</li></ul>#LI-VL1<h1>About us</h1>We’re a global, team of innovators.
