The Lead Regulation Manager will also have a key responsibility for supporting the Policy and Regulation Director in developing a robust and resilient skillset within the Regulation Team’s analyst pool to support a more agile approach to our regulatory activity. </div><div> </div><div>In this high profile role you’ll engage with senior management in ScottishPower including at CEO and Director level, providing advice and guidance to ensure ongoing compliance and support our strategy for the future energy retail market. You’ll also engage externally with Ofgem, Government and other third parties at a senior level, drafting often public responses to key Government and regulatory consultation documents and papers, to ensure that ScottishPower’s position is presented externally to minimise risk, develop opportunities and support ScottishPower Group objectives. You’ll also develop strong working relationships with officials to understand their thinking and identify win-win opportunities for ScottishPower.  </div><div><div> </div><div>Using your excellent analytical skills, you’ll have the vision to identify the potential impact of any regulatory proposals including understanding and reacting to those interactions.
