You will be required to work from our Mountain View locationResponsibilities<ul><li>Design, build, and test mechanical and electromechanical components and structures</li><li>Create, run, and post-process basic stress and thermal analysis simulations</li><li>Create and release 2D mechanical design drawings</li><li>Perform analysis using first principles techniques to validate mechanical and thermal aspects of the design</li><li>Make design considerations for mass optimization, structural integrity, thermal considerations, and risk mitigation</li><li>Manage and track CGs and weights for components installed on an aircraft</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering</li><li>8+ years of relevant work experience in Mechanical Engineering</li><li>2+ years of testing experience</li><li>Advanced understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals (statics, dynamics, structural mechanics, etc.)</li><li>Familiarity with CAD software such as Siemens NX (preferred), SolidWorks, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with Matlab or Python for data regression</li><li>Familiarity with drafting standards, including GD&amp;T, and ability to interpret or create engineering drawings</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay range the company expects to pay: $148,000 - $186,000 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.Wisk HQ is located in Mountain View just a couple of hundred feet from Shoreline Lake and its surrounding walking/jogging trails.
