Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.</p><h1><strong>Who we are looking for</strong></h1><p>The Quoting Engineer plays a critical role in managing quote requests and ensuring smooth order execution. This role coordinates Request for Quote (RFQ), Requests for Information (RFI) and proposals, and leads production hand-off from purchase order (PO) receipt through to manufacturing start.</p><h2><strong>What you get to do!</strong></h2><h2>Quote Coordination:</h2><ul><li>Aid in technical customer communication about RFQs</li><li>Track and log incoming quote and proposal requests</li><li>Distribute requests across relevant team members</li><li>Managing requirements review meetings and collect cross-functional inputs</li><li>Aid in developing initial schedules and delivery timelines</li><li>Draft integrated quotes for review by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)</li><li>Identify and implement continuous improvements to quoting processes</li><li>Track quote metrics and aid in the development of new equipment/capability acquisition.</li></ul><h2>ERP administration:</h2><ul><li>Enter and manage customer orders</li><li>Establish basic project data in the ERP system</li><li>Generate and reconcile booking reports with Finance</li><li>Coordinate schedules with new RFQs to ensure proper lead times and OTD</li></ul><h2>General:</h2><ul><li>Maintaining and updating the Operations Plan with inputs from functions(s)</li><li>Draft and revise procedures to support continuous improvement</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations</li><li>Aid in Manufacturing Engineering tasks as required</li></ul><h2><strong>What you bring to the Team</strong></h2><ul><li>Associate’s degree in a technical and/or business-related field of study. At least 2 years working in a manufacturing business, preferably in a similar coordination or administrative role.</li><li>Working knowledge of CNC Machining processes and equipment</li><li>Must be able to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and financial information. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. English proficiency is vital.</li><li>Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve practical problems and take care of a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, data visualization).
