AECOM is currently seeking a Project Manager with a strong architectural background and preferably with an active architectural license to join our growing team in one of the following offices: San Franciso, Oakland, Los Angeles, Sacramento or San Jose, CA. This is an opportunity to lead impactful architectural projects from planning and design through construction, while collaborating across disciplines in a dynamic, global design environment. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of architectural projects — from initial concept development through construction completion. You will lead project teams, interface directly with clients, ensure design and documentation quality, and help drive project delivery success. As a dynamic team of Architects, Planners, and Engineers we strive to incorporate beauty, sustainability, resiliency, and innovation in our projects.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Lead and manage architectural projects through all phases of design and construction</li><li>Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery</li><li>Serve as primary client contact throughout project development</li><li>Oversee the preparation and review of design documentation and construction drawings</li><li>Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations</li><li>Support internal resourcing, consultant coordination, and team performance</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and AECOM standards</li></ul><ul><li>May manage various size groups of architects, designers and/or specialists.</li><li>May work on modest size projects and/or assist Project Architectural or Engineering Managers with higher grades. </li><li>Responsible for providing architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations for a specialized segment of the Architectural Discipline within the schedules and budget of an assigned project. </li></ul>
