Your day will typically involve visiting farms and customer sites between 08:15 – 17:00, with time spent in the Honiton office when not on-site.Technical Service &amp; Maintenance<ul><li>Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on Automatic (AMS) and Conventional Milking Systems (CMS)</li><li>Perform repairs, servicing, upgrades, and installations</li></ul>Slurry Equipment Support<ul><li>Maintain and install slurry handling and manure management systems</li></ul>On-Call Support<ul><li>Take part in a rota providing out-of-hours technical support across your region</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Complete service reports, record parts usage, and track time accurately</li></ul>Quality, Safety &amp; Compliance (QSHE)<ul><li>Follow and promote best practices in safety, quality, and environmental standards</li></ul>Customer Service &amp; Business Growth<ul><li>Deliver excellent customer service</li><li>Represent Venture Dairy Services professionally</li><li>Build strong relationships with customers</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English</li><li>Comfortable using MS Office</li><li>Experience as a Dairy Technician (desirable) OR a background in electrical/mechanical engineering</li><li>Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults</li><li>Full UK Category B driving licence (endorsements must be declared)</li><li>Willingness to travel across the Southwest (and occasionally to the Channel Islands)</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors, in all weather conditions and farm environments</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Attributes<ul><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach</li><li>Able to work both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Safety-conscious with a proactive mindset</li><li>Appreciation for animal welfare and modern farming practices</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
