This position demands strong analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.  Looking for a proactive, collaborative team member who demonstrates flexibility and commitment to achieving goals and meeting deadlines.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for government programs.</li><li>Prepare, review, and finalize monthly spend plans to support financial forecasting and compliance.</li><li>Support pricing strategies for all contract types</li><li>Analyze cost data and provide actionable insights to program and leadership teams.</li><li>Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.</li></ul>Key Qualifications and Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 2-4 years of experience in program cost analysis within government contracting/manufacturing.</li><li>Proven expertise in pricing and cost management.</li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills.</li><li>Highly organized and able to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events.</li><li>Ability to react well under pressure and respond promptly to customer needs.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; general knowledge of Microsoft Outlook products.</li><li>Experience with Cost Point and Cognos is preferred.</li></ul>Language Skills<ul><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. </li><li>Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.</li></ul>Mathematical Skills<ul><li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. </li><li>Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.</li></ul>Reasoning Ability<ul><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li></ul>Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Outlook; MS Excel and MS Word software.Other Essential Duties<ul><li>Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.</li></ul>Other Skills and Abilities<ul><li>Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100</li><li>Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen</li><li>Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…)</li></ul>Other Qualifications<ul><li>US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.</li></ul>#TBE  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
