As our Quality Engineer (F/M/D), you will strengthen our supplier and incoming quality processes as we scale production and ensure, that custom-developed and standard components meet our quality standards. You will collaborate closely with suppliers on nonconformities and drive continuous improvement across our supply chain. This role requires regular on-site collaboration at our Munich location.  <h3>HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT</h3><ul><li>Perform first sample inspections for newly developed custom parts  </li></ul><ul><li>Plan and prioritize incoming inspections using AQL frameworks  </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate quality checks for serial production parts</li></ul><ul><li>Document and track nonconformities and communicate findings to suppliers  </li></ul><ul><li>Manage supplier corrective action processes (8D, SCAR) and ensure sustainable resolution of quality issues</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments.  </li></ul><ul><li>Perform on-site or remote supplier audits, especially key suppliers with elevated quality requirements or higher operational complexity </li></ul><ul><li>Define and coordinate outgoing inspections for critical components </li></ul><ul><li>Take ownership of supplier quality KPIs and drive measurable improvements, including: </li></ul><ul><li><ul><li>Nonconformity rates  </li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><ul><li>Supplier response/resolution times </li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Maintain and improve incoming goods inspection documentation  </li></ul><ul><li>Identify systemic issues and implement sustainable improvements</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality standards</li></ul> <h3>WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE</h3>Core Requirements  <ul><li>You bring relevant experience in quality engineering (e.g., several years of practical experience) </li></ul><ul><li>Hands-on experience with:  </li></ul><ul><li><ul><li>8D Reports  </li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><ul><li>SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Requests)  </li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><ul><li>AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit)  </li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Solid understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards</li></ul><ul><li>Strong analytical and documentation skills </li></ul><ul><li>Business-level English is required for the role; German skills are beneficial for collaboration with local stakeholders </li></ul> Preferred Requirements <ul><li>Experience with custom mechanical/electronic components  </li></ul><ul><li>Audit experience (internal or supplier audits)</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with ERP or QMS systems</li></ul><ul><li>Experience supporting or scaling hardware production environments</li></ul> <h3>HOW WE WILL KNOW WE ARE A PERFECT MATCH</h3>Your recruiting partner for this role is Lenka (she/her).
