The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, and our supply chain partners, ensuring a seamless transition from prototype to mass production. This role requires a strong background in both program management and operational excellence within a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Program Management and Execution<ul><li>Lead and manage complex, cross-functional operations programs from concept to high-volume manufacturing.</li><li>Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.</li><li>Develop and manage comprehensive program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.</li><li>Identify, track, and mitigate program risks, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.</li><li>Regularly communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to executive leadership and relevant teams.</li><li>Plan and execute a project kickoff meeting to align all stakeholders on the program objectives and critical path. </li></ul>Manufacturing and Scale-Up<ul><li>Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to define and optimize the manufacturing process (DFM, DFA).</li><li>Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness activities, including line bring-up, process validation (e.g., FAI, CPK studies), and production ramp readiness.</li><li>Lead the transfer of manufacturing processes to external contract manufacturing partners.</li><li>Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, cost, and capacity requirements for production scale.</li></ul>Supply Chain Management<ul><li>Collaborate with the Procurement and Supply Chain teams to select, qualify, and manage key suppliers.</li><li>Oversee the development and execution of the supply chain strategy, including inventory planning, logistics, and material readiness.</li><li>Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) readiness and cost tracking throughout the product lifecycle.</li><li>Ensure component and material supply continuity, proactively addressing potential shortages or quality issues.</li></ul>RequirementsQualifications Required Experience<ul><li>Proven ability to manage manufacturing and supply chain projects. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, NPI, and scaling production. Li-ion cell manufacturing knowledge is a plus</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.</li><li>Ability to travel internationally up to 25% to visit suppliers and manufacturing sites.</li></ul> Education, Certifications, Experience <ul><li>5+ years of experience in Operations Program Management, Production Management, or Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related field. </li></ul>Physical Demands &amp; Work Location: ·       Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required. ·       Work performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards Travel Requirements: up to 10%Benefits·       Comprehensive compensation package includes base salary + RSUs. Salary range for this role is $120,000 to $190,000.
