And that’s where you come in.About the PositionIn accordance with the Company Vision, Mission, Values and Management Disciplines, carry out testing and commissioning of signalling equipment that are under the responsibility of Hitachi Rail’ Deployment department.Accountabilities include but are not limited to the followingProject Work<ul><li>Perform project work including:</li><li>Performing software updates in Integration Lab;</li><li>Performing System End-to-End testing;</li><li>Performing Integration testing of subsystems in Lab and in Control Centre</li><li>Preparing integration testing specification and testing report</li><li>Reporting the issues found during the testing based on RTC</li><li>Assisting the Team Lead/Commissioning Manager in preparing testing documentation, such as test plans and procedures</li></ul><ul><li>Carrying out testing and commissioning duties</li><li>Participating in the testing and commissioning of railway in Control Centre</li><li>Participating the system integration activities on site and in T&amp;C lab for new products and obsolescence study (particular for TMS and ETG)</li><li>Assisting in fault location in set to work activities prior to and during testing and commissioning</li></ul><ul><li>Supporting the manufacturing and installation activities as required, including:</li><li>Attending project progress meetings as and when required</li><li>Preparing progress reports for appropriate activities</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure all activities undertaken in the Company are conducted with due regard to a high level of safety including:</li><li>Ensuring all activities undertaken comply with applicable OH&amp;S laws;</li><li>Ensuring all activities comply with Company OH&amp;S policies and procedures;</li><li>Ensuring all safety incidents are reported and followed up using Company OH&amp;S procedures.</li></ul>EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Tertiary qualification, trade qualification or equivalent - preferred.</li><li>Major in Computer Science and Engineering is required.</li><li>Ability to work and lead in a multicultural environment.</li><li>Strong project management skills to execute initiatives successfully.</li><li>Agile mindset, able to take prompt decisions in a challenging environment.</li><li>Ability to analyse data and draw insights to inform decision-making.</li><li>Ability to form and build key stakeholder relationships.</li></ul>At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
