In this role, you’ll help maintain and improve our HSE Management Systems, lead safety initiatives, conduct observations, support incident investigations, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Implement and improve HSE programs and site-specific procedures</li><li>Deliver training and drive engagement in safety initiatives</li><li>Conduct audits, gap analyses, and develop action plans</li><li>Support investigations of incidents and environmental releases</li><li>Maintain HSE documentation, KPIs, and compliance reporting</li><li>Partner with cross functional teams to strengthen safe work practices</li><li>Review equipment, materials, and process changes for HSE impacts</li><li>Support hazardous materials programs and training</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Technical Diploma in Occupational Health &amp; Safety from a post-secondary institution</li><li>CRSP/CRST, CSP or equivalent is an asset</li><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in health, safety &amp; environment roles, with ideally 3 years in a manufacturing or distribution setting</li><li>Strong communication and training delivery skills</li><li>Solid computer skills and technical aptitude</li></ul>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
