Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations, with the Engineering &amp; Product department currently ~20 people, as we continue to grow throughout the year. Role description You'll join either our Solar or Heating team to focus entirely on our fastest-growing product area: Services. On top of their monthly subscription, our customers can book additional services through autarc — such as government subsidy applications (e.g. KfW), energy performance certificates, and more. This area is scaling rapidly and we're hiring dedicated engineering capacity to match.Your job is to build and ship new services fast. That means new service types, new country rollouts (Italy, UK, France), and new workflows — often from zero to live in days, not weeks. We expect you to go all-in on AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to move at a pace that traditional engineering can't match.Other things you'll do will include:<ul><li>Build and ship end-to-end service workflows</li><li>Expand our service offering into new European markets, adapting to local regulations and requirements</li><li>Ship polished React UIs and interaction-heavy workflows with strong UX</li><li>Integrate AI models (Anthropic, OpenAI) to automate service fulfilment like document generation, form pre-filling, validation</li><li>Build APIs that connect service data across systems and workflows</li><li>Partner closely with Design and Product to deliver features at speed</li></ul>The technologies you will use include:<ul><li>TypeScript, React, Three.js</li><li>Go, Node/NestJS, Postgres</li><li>Electric SQL, RxDB, local-first sync patterns</li><li>Docker, Fly.io, NATS</li></ul>This is a Fullstack role with a 70/30 split between Frontend and Backend. With autarc we are building the leading heat pump OS for HVAC installers in Europe to accelerate the transition to low carbon homes. Heating with gas and oil accounts for 30% of Europe's CO2 emissions, and we are at the forefront of combating this environmental concern. The problem: Installers are eager to install more heat pumps but are hindered by a broken installation process. Our solution leverages LiDAR technology and AI to cut the overall project time of heat pump installations by 50%. We integrate a CRM, planning, and design tool into an all-in-one platform.
