The Water Division of AECOM is actively seeking a Water Resources EIT for full-time employment. This position is based out of our Burnaby Office (Vancouver Metro).The appropriately qualified candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of interesting water resources projects that include stormwater management and modelling, flood risk assessments and design and construction drainage systems. Skills you will likely use or develop in this job include hydrology and hydraulics, design of drainage systems, preparation of specifications and cost estimates, construction inspections, and report/proposal writing all in a friendly, fast-paced consulting engineering work environment at AECOM. This role offers upwards career progression within AECOM for motivated candidates with the right aptitude and work ethic.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Hydrology and hydraulic calculations and modelling</li><li>Prepare or update stormwater management plans</li><li>Producing design calculations,   cost estimates, specifications, and technical reports, and developing drawings and visual aids for stormwater infrastructure.</li><li>Coordinating and supporting project execution including communicating with clients, meetings, completing technical analysis and reviews.</li><li>Exercising judgment relating to developing work details in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.</li><li>Working directly with the group manager and engineers in Water Resources and collaborate with  project teams in civil, geotechnical, environmental, electrical, process mechanical, structural, etc.</li></ul>
