Reporting to an Accounting Manager and based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the Accountant is a critical member of the generation accounting team performing the accounting, reporting, and analysis of various plant activities, as well as supporting the development and application of US GAAP accounting policies and maintaining internal controls.This position is responsible for accounting activity related to margins, capital projects, insurance, debt and cash application, some of which may involve activities related to new business initiatives including joint venture and equity transactions. In addition, this position is responsible for providing support on the technical accounting implications of new business initiatives, as well as complying with the control (SOX) environment of the Company.
