Job Description:<h2>Senior Freight Cost Analyst</h2><h2>Job Description</h2> We are looking for someone who demonstrates:<ul><li>Passionate drive to innovate and create.</li><li>Integrity to the core</li><li>Enthusiastic customer focus</li><li>Consistent interactive teamwork</li><li>Desire for continuous improvement and top performance</li></ul> Here is a glimpse of what you will do:<ul><li>Consolidate and analyze financial data, including freight invoice validation, reconciliations, period-to-period variance analysis, and analyzing cost deviation with variance explanations.</li><li>Maintain the financial status of 100+ multiple projects in weekly status reports showing budget, forecast, extra cost, and invoice status.</li><li>Ensure the reporting of each freight forwarder rate is strictly adhered to, especially regarding invoicing, costs, payments (including terms), and budgets.</li><li>Freight Audit, to identify the duplicate invoices and ensure compliance with payment terms .</li><li>Response for statement of account reconciliation by each freight forwarder every month and manage the disputes</li><li>Establish control processes and guidelines for data maintenance</li></ul><ul><li>Compile and create reports, graphs, charts, documents, and slide presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PowerBI.</li></ul><ul><li>Establish control processes and guidelines for data maintenance</li></ul> Here is some of what you will need (required):<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) – preferred.</li><li>8+ years of relevant experience with logistics, and transportation, preferably in a high-volume environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of multi-modal logistics pricing structure (ocean, rail, truck, air, and customs brokerage).</li><li>5+ years of variance analysis experience (actuals to forecast comparison) and period-to-period analysis.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Knowing how to use formulas in Excel is required.
