We are rapidly investing in our technology, equipment, and global services platform to help our industrial customers achieve their most ambitious sustainability and growth targets.We are grateful to have been named as Fast Company’s Top Innovators of 2024 and featured on the 2025 &amp; 2026 Global Cleantech 100. Key Responsibilities:Quality Systems &amp; Process Development<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes, documentation, and controls from the ground up</li><li>Create and improve SOPs, work instructions, inspection plans, and quality records</li><li>Support the definition of product and process quality standards appropriate for a growing organization</li><li>Ability to balance quality rigor with startup speed and agility</li></ul>Inspection, Testing &amp; Data Analysis<ul><li>Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections and testing as required</li><li>Analyze quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities</li><li>Track and report key quality metrics (defects, yields, deviations, complaints)</li><li>Support root cause analysis using structured problem‑solving tools</li></ul>Nonconformance &amp; Corrective Actions<ul><li>Investigate nonconformances, deviations, and customer complaints</li><li>Participate in and document root cause investigations</li><li>Support the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)</li><li>Escalate quality risks appropriately in a fast‑moving environment</li></ul>Cross‑Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with R&amp;D, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues</li><li>Provide quality input during product development, process changes, and scale‑up activities</li><li>Support supplier qualification and ongoing supplier quality monitoring</li><li>Act as a quality advocate throughout the organization</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Readiness Support internal audits and readiness for customer or regulatory audits as needed<ul><li>Ensure documentation and records are audit‑ready and well organized</li><li>Help translate regulatory or customer requirements into practical, scalable processes</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience in quality control analysis</li><li>2–5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, operations, or process support roles</li><li>Familiarity with quality tools such as root cause analysis, CAPA, SPC, and risk assessment</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, or bills of materials</li><li>Comfortable working with spreadsheets, quality logs, and basic data analysis</li><li>Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with strong follow‑through</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience in a startup, scale‑up, or fast‑growth environment is strongly preferred</li><li>Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), early manufacturing, or pilot production is a plus</li><li>Experience with quality documentation systems or ERP/QMS tools preferred</li><li>Experience in a regulated or quality‑critical industry (medical devices, water treatment, energy, aerospace, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar standards</li><li>Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or field operations</li><li>Interest in growing into a senior or quality leadership role as the company scales</li></ul>Schedule, Travel, Compensation, and LocationThis is a full-time position in Woburn, MA and will report temporarily to the VP of Operations.Travel for this role is expected to be between 5% - 10%. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include equity and benefits.
