Timmons Group is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Water &amp; Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to join our Water &amp; Wastewater Group located in our Raleigh, NC office location. The Project Manager will help lead water and wastewater treatment projects across North Carolina and Virginia. This is a key leadership role within our Raleigh-based Water &amp; Wastewater Group, offering the opportunity to drive impactful infrastructure solutions and foster strong client relationships.Essential Duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Lead the successful execution of water and wastewater treatment facility projects, ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.</li><li>Develop technical strategies, select treatment processes, establish design criteria, and produce construction documents.</li><li>Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and communications.</li><li>Cultivate client relationships, negotiate scopes and fees, and support billing and collections as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and cross-sell Timmons Group services beyond your technical domain.</li><li>Oversee multiple mid-sized and small-scale projects simultaneously.</li></ul>Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Civil/Environmental Engineering and Assoc. DBIA Certification preferred.</li><li>Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in North Carolina and Virginia, or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months.</li><li>6–10 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater treatment design.</li><li>Experience with EnviroSim’s BioWin wastewater modeling software preferred.</li><li>Proven success working on long-term, multidisciplinary projects.</li><li>Proficiency in engineering software, modeling tools, and CADD.</li><li>Ability to perform engineering calculations and prepare technical specifications.</li><li>Experience developing construction cost estimates.</li><li>Strong communication skills with clients, staff, and design teams.</li></ul>
