We have an immediate opening for an IT Industrial Automation Specialist.  This position can be located at our office in Pune IN.Overview of Industrial Automation The IT Industrial Automation Specialist is responsible for developing the detailed technical configurations required to ensure that the many and varied plant floor computing platforms operate in a reliable manner and integrate seamlessly with each other and with the enterprise computing environment.  The position provides information technology support and ensures continued operation of the systems, processes, and technologies that comprise Air Products’ Industrial Control Systems.  The candidate will need strong IT infrastructure skills including network, client, server, and security.Plant floor computing requires a broad variety of operating systems, software applications and communication protocol alternatives. These systems must communicate with various electronic devices and together they form the core of plant automation. The blend of IT and non-IT components present technical challenges that must be considered in the design.There is a large stakeholder community which includes Global Engineering &amp; Manufacturing, Operations, Information Technology and others.  It is necessary to ensure that all technical solutions align with the strategic and tactical directions for the stakeholder groups and that all activities are coordinated across the various organizations to ensure the desired end-state.  What you’ll do: <ul><li>Manage day to day issues with Verve to make sure the infrastructure for Verve is running without connection problems and data is flowing appropriately.  Verve is built on HCL BigFix and Kibana.</li><li>Manage day to day entries in Verve to make sure all data is up to date and follow up on any anomalies that are seen via the reports and dashboards to clean up the anomalies.   Strong data analytical skills and IT troubleshooting skills will be needed to facilitate data clean up.</li><li>Manage the HCL BigFix servers, client check ins, ScanPoints, etc.</li><li>Create and maintain security groups programmatically in AWS.  This is done via scripting in Terraform.</li></ul>What you’ll do as part of the team:<ul><li>Configure, install, and uninstall PCs and Servers for Process Control Applications.</li><li>Provide first level incident response for Process Control PCs and Servers.</li><li>Develop Zone &amp; Conduit Diagrams for Process Control Systems.</li><li>Provide information technology support for industrial control systems at Air Products Plants, OSCs, Pipeline systems, and trailer fill systems.</li><li>Work with Process Automation Engineers to build and deploy control systems for new plant projects or control system upgrade projects.</li><li>Work with vendors and follow industry best practices for proper infrastructure support.</li><li>Participate in infrastructure lifecycle planning, including health assessments and roadmaps</li><li>Participate in Industrial Control System cybersecurity assessments and deployments.</li><li>Optimize work processes and implement automation to drive service efficiency and productivity.</li><li>Help train, orient, bring up to speed new team members.</li><li>Travel to Air Products plant sites, spend minimum of 10% of your time travelling.</li><li>Participate in on-call support rotation, including evenings and weekends per rotation schedule.</li><li>Meet with and work with fellow IT Technical Support and Engineering resources in other regions as needed to support Air Products business needs.</li><li>Engage support providers or vendors, as appropriate, to resolve issues and ensure continuous availability to AP business processes, connectivity, communications, and services.</li><li>Collaborate with other Infrastructure Engineering teams, in design, integration, testing, and landing of new and enhanced information systems, services, and offerings.</li><li>Understand, adhere to, and execute adopted ITIL practices for Change, Incident, Problem, and Release Management.</li><li>Engineer, configure, and support ICS asset management solution; administer patching and remediation to ensure compliance of ICS fleet.</li></ul>What we’re looking for:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an Engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical), or equivalent work experience.</li><li>5+ years IT experience or comparable experience with process control systems</li><li>Experience with Windows PC Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10) and Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2003, 2007, 2012, 2016)</li><li>Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, Acronis Backup, and Netop Remote Control</li><li>Experience with networks (TCP/IP network protocols, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and Active Directory</li><li>ISA99/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist Certificate a plus</li><li>Willingness to learn and develop security administration skillset </li><li>Familiarity with SCADA and industrial control systems</li><li>Ability to manage multiple project priorities and competing demands</li><li>Good communication, leadership, and teamwork skills are required, including the ability to work independently</li><li>Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy</li><li>Must be sharp, quick, dedicated, and innovative problem solver</li><li>Strong ability to work with strategic vendors, outside service/support providers, and other third-party suppliers.</li></ul>We are the world’s largest hydrogen producer with over 80 years of industrial gas experience.
