An Engineer II effectively applies fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is complex and varied.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems of increasing scope and complexity, </li><li>Contributes to team decision-making in the accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities, </li><li>Deal with changing priorities and differing situations and make decisions that may affect the work of the team, </li><li>Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches related to well-defined problems and analysis of increasing scope and complexity, </li><li>Conducts engineering and related studies </li><li>Completes routine engineering projects with minimal oversight with increasing ability to independently manage project schedules and interfaces; increasingly competent to design, operate and maintain systems with moderate impact on existing systems, </li><li>Possesses and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures, proficient in technical and analytical competencies, </li><li>Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities, </li><li>Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills, </li><li>Maintains accurate records and files, and </li><li>Supports the company’s goals and represents the company positively and professionally</li></ul>Basic Requirements - Engineer II<ul><li>Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program. A master's degree in engineering can be considered in lieu of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.</li></ul>Additional Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in CAD design (Microstation/Autocad).</li><li>Working in collaborative/team environment.</li><li>Support in creation and modification of Spill Prevention Control Countermeasures (SPCC).</li><li>Civil Engineering background is preferred in addition to the basic requirements for schooling.</li><li>Demonstrated advancing application of engineering theories and principles.</li><li>Increasingly proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, preparing and presenting recommendations.</li><li>Good written and oral communication skills.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Hybrid Mobility Classification</li><li>Some business units may require visits to field sites and/or plants</li></ul>Specific Requirements<ul><li>Must have valid driver's license</li><li>Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience</li><li>A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S.
