Responsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Coordinate and/or perform Installation and Commissioning of new separators and decanters sold to customers</li><li>Provide technical and maintenance support separators and decanters   </li><li>Travel to Customer Sites to work on Separator &amp; Decanter systems as per the applicable GEA Safe operating procedures and maintenance manuals.</li><li>Train customers and employees on the equipment for best operating practices and general maintenance.</li><li>Assist the third party with Project Execution activities.</li><li>Participate in auditing and monitoring activities of GEA equipment on customers ‘sites.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance procedures, emergency service as well as warranty work on GEA’s product lines.</li><li>Collect and classify data using various measuring equipment applicable to the equipment.</li><li>Test systems and components using electrical, mechanical, digital, and pneumatic controls.</li><li>Maintain records of repairs and maintenance of equipment as per maintenance schedules, corporate governance, legal requirements, and customer requirements.</li><li>Provide feedback and recommendations to other departments in the development of new products and the improvement of existing products.</li><li>Initiate recommendations for improved tools, procedures, and devices for service operations.</li><li>Build parts lists for Customers, internal and external.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>5 to 7 years experience</li><li>Professional or Collegian Diploma (Mechanical Engineering Technology, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Millwright or similar)</li><li>Travel Requirement at least 75% of the job requires travel in the province of Alberta with the possibility of service related visits to other Canadian provinces as and when required.</li><li>The Candidate must be able to accommodate a flexible working schedule</li><li>Must have Valid passport and be eligible to work in CA and USA when required.</li><li>International travel is also a possibility for training and other requirements candidate must be able to travel internationally as well</li><li>Knowledge of Centrifuge and Decanter systems required/ and advantageous</li><li>Or candidate must demonstrate skills and knowledge applied in other mechanically Relatable Equipment</li><li>Process and electrical knowledge and experience is advantageous</li><li>PLC (Allen Bradley is a plus) / Programming / Control Panel experience is considered advantageous</li></ul>Optional locations: Edmonton and other cities in Alberta.Did we spark your interest?
